The lifestyle you prefer can be found in beautiful Monmouth County. We are centrally located in New Jersey, approximately 40 minutes to Princeton, 1 hour to New York City, 25 minutes to the Jersey Shore. One is never far from swimming, boating or just taking in the sunshine. You can spend a day at Freehold Raceway for exciting finishes at the nation’s oldest harness racing track or visit New Jersey’s Meadowland Sports Complex or beautiful Monmouth Park Racetrack.
A visit to a famous orchard, which offers hot-out-of-the-oven, baked pies and breads, apple cider, sumptuous fruits and vegetables and cheeses will prove to be a delight. Flea markets and discount shopping malls offer an opportunity to purchase name brand clothing and housewares at a discount. There is no sales tax on clothing purchases, which is an additional savings to you. Three large regional shopping malls are only minutes away.
Medical facilities are available within minutes from most communities. In addition we have “Medical Row”; numerous medical and medical related offices located near Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel; Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank; Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold; Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch; Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Gourmet restaurants as well as many fast food stops are located throughout the county. The Jersey Shore boasts superb seafood restaurants, many offering beautiful water views, and Country Club settings.
There is no lack of excellent entertainment. Atlantic City to the South offers casinos and superstar shows while to the North is Broadway and the excitement of New York City. The PNC Bank Arts Center is in our own back yard with top name entertainers as well as concerts. “Six Flags Great Adventure” provides a fun day of amusements for the family. Parks with picnic area and recreation areas, bowling, tennis – indoors and outdoors, exercise spas and the “Y” offers activities for everyone.
A fine system of modern roadways serves Monmouth County: the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, Interstate I95, Highways 9 and 33, all connecting to other major roads. Newark International Airport is only 35 minutes away.
The towns of Holmdel, Colts Neck, Marlboro, Middletown, Old Bridge, Matawan, Manalapan Freehold, Howell, and Jackson are fast growing communities with new construction, resales, farms, condominiums and townhouses. Other new communities are developing because of the huge demand to move to this area. Education is a high priority with a high percentage of students accepted to top universities and colleges. Special education programs are available to meet the needs of gifted and talented children, as well as the handicapped and children with learning disabilities. Colleges in the area are Brookdale (Community college), Monmouth University, Rutgers University, and Princeton University.
Monmouth County offers Office Complexes and Industrial Parks and is the home of Prudential, Lucent Technologies, and AT&T. High Tech Corporations are choosing to locate here, offering greater employment opportunities.
